The Fantasy of Trees is a fantasy wonderland, but our goal to support local charities is real!  Here is one of our 2017 recipient organizations – the Special Olympics of Grimsby-Lincoln.

And in their words:

“It has been close to 10 years that Special Olympics was started in the Grimsby Lincoln area. It began with 5 very young athletes in one sport.

Today we offer 9 different sporting options throughout the year. Over 90 athletes benefit, physically, mentally and socially. Countless hours of volunteering has been provided and the athletes of Grimsby Lincoln have flourished.

The group and the local communities involved have celebrated sending various athletes to many provincial competitions, a few National athletes and one World competition since inception. We are confident with the support our athletes receive from our volunteers, coaches, families, our community and community service clubs such as Rotary, we will no doubt see more world competitions in the very near future.”  The Special Olympics, Grimsby Lincoln
